Senior Associate

Associates can expect to be promoted to Senior Associate and gain additional responsibilities to manage and conduct the research and analysis in a project.  Senior Associates are expected to contribute their thoughts, findings and recommendations, both at team brainstorming sessions and client meetings.  Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the activities of one to three team members on assigned projects.
  • Designing analyses using spreadsheets, database tools, statistical analysis and process mapping in order to meet project goals.
  • Conducting analyses utilizing assumption testing and sensitivity analysis.
  • Gathering research, by conducting interviews, searching literature or the Internet and interpreting survey results.
  • Summarizing research findings.
  • Authoring client presentations and other deliverables.
  • Presenting findings to clients and to senior consulting staff.

Senior Associates are also hired post-MBA or MS programs and must have experience in a management consulting firm or within a strategic role in the motor vehicle industry.  Minimum requirements include:

  • A Bachelor's degree within a discipline requiring a strong analytical aptitude such as:  engineering, finance, or economics.
  • An MS or MBA degree is strongly preferred.
  • Two to five years work experience in a management consulting firm or within the motor vehicle industry in a management or strategic role.
  • Outstanding proficiency within Excel and Access, and PowerPoint is necessary.
  • Professional experience with the following: analytical modeling, statistical analysis, optimization, and/or manipulation of large datasets are required.
  • Experience with SQL or statistical packages.
  • Possess excellent communication skills-both written and verbal.
  • A professional demeanor.
